Meet Simon Captain Howdy – Rigging Expert and Innovator
Born in London and based in Berlin, Simon Captain Howdy has dedicated his career to the art and science of rigging. With a foundation in hands-on experience since 2010, Simon has mastered roles from Head Rigger to Kinesys Automation Operator. His work has spanned global tours, theatrical productions, and blockbuster film sets.
Simon brings not only technical expertise but also a commitment to safety and innovation. Certified at the highest levels, including NRC Level 2 and as a Moveket Admin, he also contributes to industry knowledge through publications like Rigging Math Made Easy. Beyond rigging, Simon is a skilled rescue rigger and a CAD technician, ensuring every project is planned and executed flawlessly.
Fluent in English and Hebrew, with working knowledge of German and Spanish, Simon bridges communication gaps and collaborates with diverse teams worldwide.
